London
Day 9

- The Dr. Who Experience at the Olympia Convention Centre was lots of fun. It was an interactive, 3-D experience.
- Ate lunch at a Pizza Express. It was good for a chain restaurant. In fact, pizza is just better over in Europe.
- Bought bubble wrap for the beer bottles at Mailbox, Etc. because shopping in a packaging store is a must for us on vacation.
- Chllled back at apartment because it was going to be a long night.
- Went to British Museum (oh my god it took us long enough to get there) and was wowed by the loot. Not quite as massive as the Louvre, but the stuff is quality.
- Went to Chinatown and ate some good noodles and roast pork. Spoke some Teochew with the server who was trying to infer that was I was a good for nothing American who knew no Chinese. In yo face, Cantonese lady.
- Got back to apartment and packed.
- Got news that our cat was taken to the emergency vet and that made us sad and worried.
- Slept for one hour and then left apartment at 3 am by a hired car service to the airport.
- Business class all the way home, baby.
- First class lounges give you free food! Did you know this? We took advantage, of course.
- Connected in Paris with its maddening security checks everywhere.
- Frenchy flight attendants on way home made things NICE.
- I don’t recommend Cars 2. What a horrible movie.
