I

I'm staying on the first floor of this building, which may not be what you think it means. Europeans have a fun way of labelling floors.

Day 32

I ran out of things to do in Paris. The End.

Just kidding! Sorta. I really didn't feel like doing anything this day. I just walked around the neighborhood and went grocery shopping at Tang Freres in Chinatown where everyone spoke Teochew. I was all giddy afterwards. Yes, I came to Paris to speak Chinese to people who aren't related to me. That was my real goal.

In the afternoon, I read Harry Potter in the Jardin de Palais Royal. I also drank a juice box. Sorry, I'm reaching here, but I got nothing else to tell you. Oh, I use two neat passages through buildings that get me to the gardens in less than a minute. There are passages like this all over Paris that mostly house businesses but allow you to make short cuts if you know where to find them. Or, I guess, if you have a map. Big IF.
